Game of the Year – 2011

Last month we conducted a poll among our members.  We asked what game people thought was the best game last year.  Our members play a wide assortment of games.  We wanted to know which game came out on top according to Sword and Shield Gaming.

For 2011, the winner of the Game of the Year, according to Sword and Shield Gaming is….

a tie!  When all the votes were tallied, it came down to not one game, but two!

Our community selected both Modern Warfare 3 and Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim as the games of the year.  Coming in a close third was Gears of War 3, followed by Portal 2 and Battlefield 3.  2011 was a great year for gaming.  Here’s to 2012!
